Featuring a new midsole foam, it provides a softer, responsive ride for easy runs and long distance training. It stays true to Altra’s signature FootShape™ toe box — allowing your toes to splay naturally— and introduces a 4mm heel-to-toe drop paired with rocker geometry. This combination offers an easy, efficient transition, making it the perfect entry point for runners curious about Altra but not yet ready for a zero-drop shoe.
Engineered with a focus on stability and longevity, the FWD Via 2 boasts excellent midfoot lockdown and a durable rubber outsole built for heavy rotation. Whether you are looking to strengthen different muscle groups by varying your drops or simply want a highly cushioned partner for your daily miles, the FWD Via 2 provides a comfortable, supportive, and natural-feeling ride.
